These terms describe use of the Holistic Smiles Dental Wellness website and its content. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please stop using the website and contact the practice directly for assistance.
The website is operated for Holistic Smiles Dental Wellness in Edmonton, Alberta. These terms concern website use; treatment consent, financial arrangements and clinical care are discussed separately with the practice.

Dental information and individual care
Articles, service descriptions, photographs and other website materials provide general information. They are not a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation for you or a substitute for an examination. Using this website or sending an enquiry does not establish a dentist–patient relationship.
A treatment may not be suitable for every person. Results, appointment timing, fees and available options depend on individual circumstances. Photographs and descriptions of particular cases do not promise the same outcome for another patient.

Urgent concerns
Do not rely on the website, booking system or email for an immediate response to an emergency. For a medical emergency, including difficulty breathing or swallowing, call 911 or seek emergency care. For an urgent dental concern, phone the practice to ask about assessment and available care.

Appointments, fees and coverage
Online appointment links open the practice’s external Akitu booking service. Follow the instructions and confirmation process shown there. Viewing a time or sending a general email does not, by itself, confirm an appointment.
Website descriptions of insurance, government programs and payment options are general information. Eligibility, benefits, exclusions and patient charges depend on the program, insurer, treatment and your circumstances. Ask for a treatment estimate and review the applicable financial arrangements before proceeding.
Contact the practice for current appointment-change, cancellation, payment and other administrative policies. This page does not establish a cancellation fee, refund entitlement or guarantee of insurance coverage.

Contacting the practice
The contact form prepares an email draft for you to review and send in your own email application. The website does not submit the form to a patient-management system. Please provide accurate contact details and keep your message to general appointment or practice information.
Do not use the form to send confidential records, card details, identity documents or information requiring an urgent clinical response. Call first to ask how to share sensitive information appropriately.
